Who We Are
The Information Management Association (IMA) at the University of Connecticut is a student-run organization that provides resources for students interested in the field of Information Technology. Our meetings and events involve inviting IT representatives from various industries to speak to students about their company, job prospects in the field, recruitment, informational sessions, resume building, conduct mock interviews, and the art of networking.
IMA is an organization connecting students and companies in the technical field. We provide value to students by developing their professional skill-set and connecting them to relevant job opportunities all while creating an inviting community. Companies are provided the means to promote their brand, company culture, and programs to potential interns and full time employees. Together we create a network of individuals passionate about information systems, analytics, and industry technology.
How to Join
Participating in the IMA is a great way to network with your peers and industry representatives, explore the IT field, and learn about the job market. IMA welcomes students from all disciplines and education levels at our events and meetings but it is targeted at undergraduate MIS majors and/or those looking for a career in the IT field.
